The Bahá’í community of Wollongong has a life of more than half a century. The first Bahá’ís resided in the area in the 1930’s. Since then, the community has been evolving and growing.

Seeking to realise Bahá’u’lláh’s vision, the community has been striving to grow unity at the grassroots and build a community that will actively contribute to the spiritual upliftment of all Australians.

To this end, we host  collective devotions as an important ingredient in the flourishing of community life and individual spiritual development. We conduct spiritual education program to inspire children and youth to bring out in themselves such qualities as diligence, selflessness, compassion and service to others.

We also facilitate regular study circles as a dynamic environment for learning. In a study circle, participants are taken on a journey of self-discovery, by exploring their identity and the purpose of their lives through reading, reflection, and sharing of their understanding.

In order to build a better world requires an ever-growing pool of people capable of contributing to the accomplishment of the myriad tasks at hand, and regardless of your faith, background or belief we invite you to work alongside us as we strive to build better communities and to create unity in Wollongong, Australia and the world.
